Me:
I'm
glad you stopped in on your cyberspace journey. I live
in the outskirts of Clinton Tennessee, about one hour from the
Great
Smoky Mountains National Park and thirty minutes from
Knoxville, home of the
University of Tennessee and the
National Football Champions in 1998. I am still waiting
for the next championship... I have two children
and have been with my Bride since 1972.
Purpose:
The purpose of my
site is to address the Sir Name "Robertson" and to post
information that interests me. I have not decided on a
specific theme yet so I have a hodgepodge of "stuff". Anyway, I
hope it assist others who may venture here in their
cyber-space journey.
Safety
Professional:
The Number One
Gateway to the World Wide Web for Safety and Health
Information Resources is
Osh.Net
. Jerry Robertson founded Osh.Net
in 1997. WorkCare™ has operated the site since March
2000. I am a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) in
Comprehensive Practice. If you are interested in what a
CSP is, check the Board of Certified Safety
Professionals
Website.
I believe integrity
above all is demanded by the safety profession. In fact,
integrity should be demanded by all professions and
relationships. Those that build their professional
reputation on merit of service and strive for continuous
self-development are beneficial to employees, their
employer and other relationships. Check
The American Society of
Safety Engineers
Patriotic:
I consider myself
to be very patriotic and proudly served in the
U.S. Army
from January 1969 to November 1971. After basic and
advance training I was stationed in South
Korea. I
volunteered for
Vietnam and was assigned to the 23rd
Americal Infantry Division. My base camp was a Forward Fire
Base called LZ Stinson. I am a Service-Connected
Disabled Veteran and
received two Bronze Stars
Medals. I still think about my
"brothers" in the "Nam". Check the
photos section for
pictures taken in Vietnam during my tour-of-duty.
Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution:
The Right of the people
to keep and bear arms is a fundamental American
Right. I think this right demands a great
responsibility on the individual. The U.S.
Constitution, Amendment II (also known as the Second
Amendment) states "A well-regulated Militia being
necessary to the security of a free State, the right of
the people to keep and bear arms shall not be
infringed". Also known as
The Right to
Bear Arms. |
